When I first went on a road trip to Ireland in September 2016, I immediately felt a spiritual connection to this country. The mixture of rustic and delicate landscapes, the magnificent colors such as the lush green of the grass, the turquoise blue ocean, white and soft sandy beaches, cliffs and hills in all possible shades of color and colorful flowers in pink, violet or yellow immediately drew me into their path. The warm-hearted inhabitants, the white lighthouses, the legendary history as well as the funny, relaxed sheep, for which one likes to stop on the country road - all this gives the country its unique charm.
Ireland has a magic that is difficult to describe unless you are there yourself.
Rough on the outside, warm on the inside - it all fits this pretty island.
In 2018 I visited Ireland again, especially in the west and north - I fell in love again and from then on it was clear: At some point I will immortalize my soul country on acrylic paintings.
As a full-time artist, I was finally able to make that dream come true in 2022 after planning a summer collection for July.
In hardly any other country have I felt so much relaxation, freedom, joy and peace of mind. And that is exactly what my collection reflects. The colors should primarily be associated with positive feelings. Hence the lush shades of green, a dreamy sunset, a bright lighthouse, the colorful flowers, sandy-white beaches and a turquoise-blue sea which is in no way inferior to the Caribbean, the curious sheep and the cute little boat in a quiet, cloudy environment.
Of course, Ireland also knows rain and storms, which are sometimes slightly hinted at by me in the distance. But even in this weather it's pure joy.
This collection is my most personal one so far and I was able to indulge in wonderful memories with every picture that I captured on photos in Ireland in 2016 and 2018.

Below I have put together a small photo collection of my road trips, which served as wonderful references for my pictures.
