Influenced by Art Nouveau, a family of successful tapestry designers experienced hardship and death in the late 1930s.
In modern times, the family tries to come to terms with their own history and unravel the burdening secret while dealing with the loss themselves.
It was important to me that you get the feel of a tapestry with specific, repeating patterns, but still look at a painting with individual details.
Strong personalities, death, grief, memories and hope, venerable colors, a love triangle, new and old bonds... This painting shows it all.
