From the collection: Home in the heart, part 1 of my Black Forest series
An old, medieval tower called "Hirschturm" in my hometown of Zell am Harmersbach in the Middle Black Forest. The round tower served as a prison at the time and was also part of the city wall at the time, as Zell, as a former imperial city, was allowed to act independently of the emperor and thus protect itself had to.The tower is surrounded by greenery and offers benches to rest and relax.I have always been fascinated by this tower, so I decided to immortalize it with my eyes on paper.
