From the collection: Home in the Heart, part 1 of my Black Forest series
This is one of the most important and well-known landmarks of Zell am Harmersbach - our stork tower.
The tower has been transformed over the years, surviving fires and wars and home to storks every spring and summer - hence its name for good reason.
We haven't had storks for centuries, but conservationists have done everything to get them back - with success.
I'm always happy to go through his gate or next to it. A historical, medieval treasure that I treasure and that I am fortunate to have in my hometown.
Since the collection will be released in spring, I wanted to stage the stork tower with magnificent cherry blossoms.
